"I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude enough for receiving this grant. Pony Finals has been a long-term goal of mine, but I have never had the opportunity to compete in the Pony division. I am so thankful for this experience to learn from these trainers, clinics and on a new pony. I hope to grow relationships with the people I meet and expand my knowledge and skills through the training I will receive," Williams said.

✅The students of Fountain Greene nominate Rocky as our special school pony worthy of an award. He is wise and honest. Retired from his show career, he is happy and willing to walk and trot around the ring, never taking advantage of a beginner. He knows his leads and even once in a while throws in a flying change. He is best at teaching kids to use their eyes since wherever they look, that’s where Rocky goes. He rewards good habits while patiently ignoring misinformation. He is well respected by the horses and riders in the barn.

The use of chest protection in equestrian sports has become common but there is little equestrian-specific research and testing available for equestrian air vests. Advancing your safety is critical and that's why we are doing the research.
The purpose of the Equestrian Safety Vest Research campaign is to review current equestrian vest protection standards, investigate the most common types of torso impacts and injuries, evaluate current testing methodologies, develop a biofidelic impact protocol for evaluating air and standard protective vests, and finally, test and rate the performance of current chest protection systems for the equestrian community.
