The Time is Now! Nominate Someone to the USHJA Board of Directors
The member nomination period is open for four At-Large Director seats, as well as the Officer position of Secretary/Treasurer on the USHJA Board of Directors. Senior Active Competing or Senior Education/Non-Competing members in good standing are eligible to participate in the election process.

Members now need to join/renew their USHJA membership separately from USEF at my.ushja.org.
Horse registrations, transfers, leases and name changes will also need to be completed through both USHJA and US Equestrian separately.
Did You Know...that as a grazing animal by nature, if able, the horse would graze and wander 60% of the time? Confining horses to a stall and limiting turnout time can lead to an increase in stress, digestive issues, ulcers, stable vices and pent-up energy leading to unwanted behavior in-hand or under saddle. Time spent outside is best for them physically and mentally. Whether at home or at a competition, strive to provide ample time outside of the stall that doesn’t require work. Hand grazing or hand walking several times a day is recommended when turnout isn’t available.
