Nominees Selected for 2023 USHJA Presidential Election
The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association Nominating Committee, having reviewed and considered the nominations for the position of President of USHJA, has put forward DiAnn Langer and Britt McCormick as the official nominees for Office of the President. The USHJA Board of Directors will meet on September 11, 2023, to elect USHJA's next President, who will take office at the 2024 USHJA Annual Meeting.
The new USHJA Wheeler Museum exhibit showcases traditions of the Hunter ring from the origins in foxhunting through innovations that define the modern Hunter discipline. The exhibit is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free. For more information, visit ushja.org/wheelermuseum.
📣US Equestrian Board of Directors Approves Amendment to Protective Headgear Rule
On Monday, July 24, the US Equestrian Board of Directors approved an amendment to the protective headgear certification rule change, effective August 1, 2023.
$1,500 is awarded to a USHJA, Professional Horseman’s Association or Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association member to further their equestrian education.
