As reserve champion, Amaya received an invitation to a 2025 or 2026 USHJA Gold Star Clinic, a handwoven belt from Boy O Boy Bridleworks, and a gift certificate from CWD.
On November 9, Arizona’s Junior and Amateur Equitation riders competed for top honors in the Arizona Hunter Jumper Association’s Medal Finals. Hosted by the Tucson Fall Classic under a backdrop of post card worthy Arizona fall skies, the day kicked off with breakfast and mimosa’s (for those not competing) while participants schooled and walked their first course. Judge Lynn Caristo Forgione of Morrisville, North Carolina, scored the riders numerically over two rounds and then a test. A big shout out to Jen Baltrus and her team and the folks from Steady Strides for helping to make this a fantastic event. We look forward to returning next year!
