NMHJA was organized in the 1960s to promote the interests of owners and riders of Hunters, Jumpers, and Hunt Seat Equitation horses by providing educational opportunities and standardizing recognized Hunter/Jumper horse shows and other equestrian activities within New Mexico and neighboring states.
