What did you enjoy about participating in the Outreach program in 2021?
Being back in the show ring after lockdown and riding alongside the juniors who are my heroes!
Tell us how you got involved in the sport.
I competed in the Hunters and Equitation as a junior in Honolulu, Hawaii. I competed at Smith College in IHSA shows. Then stopped riding for about 27 years. I returned about six years ago and my passion for riding has never waned.
What’s your favorite riding memory?
Too many! Going to the National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden in 1988 and seeing the beautiful horses being unloaded on the streets of Manhattan.
What are riding goals for this year?
Put in consistent rounds and have fun!
What do you enjoy most about the USHJA community?
Seeing all of the riders learning from each other, both juniors and ammies alike.
