Grant and Scholarship Opportunities

Members can apply for the Zone 1 Academic Grant to help with their academic pursuits! The USHJA Zone 1 Committee offers one or more educational, academic grants in an amount of up to $3,500. Apply by May 30!

The Hamel Family Scholarship for Further Education awards one or more USHJA members funds to be used for college, graduate, trade or professional school, totaling $25,000 each year. Apply by May 15!

The Emerson Burr Horsemanship Grant is awarded at the Zone and National level. Each winner at the zone level will receive a $100 grant to be used towards educational or equestrian related expenses. Junior riders competing in pony classes are eligible to participate in this program. Learn more and find a competition in your zone.

Save the Date for the Marshall & Sterling Insurance/USHJA National Championships! 

Returning to Las Vegas November 14-20, 2022, the Marshall & Sterling Insurance/USHJA National Championships are unlike any other championship experience currently offered for the Hunter and Jumper disciplines.

Riders will compete for National titles in their sections and Horse of the Year points while enjoying a unique venue.
